~ on Love ~

My desire is to love the way Jesus loves.  Patiently, with understanding and forgiveness - completely and unconditionally.

Loving is a totally unselfish act.  It focuses, without reservation, on the person you are loving.  There are no thoughts to yourself or what you will receive.  Love is from the heart, from the spirit.  It begins and ends with the desire to minister to another.  Comfort, peace, joy, understanding, patience and meeting needs are all a part of love.  

You want to love as I love ~ you must forget yourself. True love is given without expectation.  There is no concern about what will be given in return.  The motivation is only the giving.  Love - real love - goes forth healing, caring, rejoicing - with never a thought of what will be given back.  It is a selfless expression of My presence in you.

Receiving love is affected by your ability to give love.  You can not receive more than you are able to give.  A one cup measure can give one cup and can hold one cup.  The same is true of a 3 cup, a quart, a gallon, a bushel, etc.  - each is limited in receiving by its size.  You must become limitless in your ability to give love - without boundaries.  Love flows like the ocean - out to sea and back in towards the shore.  Give love out to others and love will flow back to you.  Perhaps not from the same person, but it will come.  See your ability to give love as boundless as the ocean - nothing can contain it.  Don't be limited by expectations.  Your expectations can never be met.  Give love its free reign in your life and your expectations will be greatly exceeded!

Do all things in love and you will remain at peace.  You will know my direction and you will even be able to judge sin in love.  You will speak words that have power to move mountains and restore sight to the blind.  Go forth my child, walk in love.
