My Child

There has never been a time
when you were not on my mind.

Before there was time - I knew you.

I knew who you were and what you would be.

There are no surprises.

You are just the person I knew you would become.

You are the child I created.

Within you is the wonder, the goodness,
the joy that I placed there.

Within you is the grace, the peace and the love that
are My gifts to you.

As you walk through this strange land I realize
that it is sometimes difficult to remember.

I understand that the cares and the distractions
of your surroundings may cause you to forget.

But, if you will pause -
if you will listen for My voice,
I will help.

It is My desire to help you.

You were created that we might have fellowship.

I am pleased with you.

I love you.

There is nothing that could keep you from Me.

Take your eyes off the things around you and look at Me.

Look into My eyes and see the precious child that I love.

I am right here by your side.
